I personally have a Corsair Strafe, and I would rather have a CM Masterkeys Pro. The Strafe only comes in full size. When I bought the Strafe, I thought I would need the numpad. But now that I've used it, the numpad is only used for typing my password.

Unless you are a tax accountant, you'll realize this too if you pay attention. For the next week, try to remember how many times you use the numpad.

It won't be that much. Why is a smaller size better? Your arms can stay closer to each other. My shoulder hurts a lot when I game for more than 1 hour. A non-full size board will prevent that. Some people say CM has a better build quality, but I think the Strafe is good enough. There is a tiiiiiiiny bit of flex when I press it down really hard, but it's unnoticable in everyday use.(There is one quite noticable quality issue on the bottom.

I'll get to that later) But even if it's a minor advantage, it is a win for CM It seems that RGB lighting on the Strafe is better. But RGB lighting brightness isn't really a big deal. I'd say the better build of the CM evens this out.

Finally, even though the Strafe has a wristrest, it isn't really good. The wristrest's texture is too rough and will cause your wrists to redden. The wristrest also seems like a gimmick to cover up the bad quality of the keyboards bottom. When I take off the wristrest, the bottom of the keyboard is shown. The quality of this part is pretty awful.

It has noticable flex even when a small amount of force is applied. TL;DR I suggest buying a CM Masterkeys M or S. What's the difference between Ducky and Filco? I'm pretty sure this question(or a similar one) has been asked before, if you have a link to the answer, please share with me, and thank you. So my question is, I own both a Ducky keyboard and a Filco keyboard (blue switch), and when pressing the keys, I can feel that they are slightly different, but I dont understand why, since they both use MX cherry switches. I understand that Ducky uses PBT keycaps, while Filco uses ABS keycaps, but could it make that big of a difference?

And overall, why do people often say Filco is the top of the line? What makes it stands out comparing to other premium brands, such as Ducky? Thanks,. Just got a ducky shine 4 with brown switches and the spacebar and backspace keys feel off, especially the spacebar. It's very mushy and stiff. I can barely feel it being pressed, and that's if i put a lot of force into it.

Similarly the backspace is also stiff, but not to a similar degree. My previous board was a CM with blue switches and costar stabilizers so this is the first time I have experienced cherry stabilizers, but it seems weird how stiff the space+backspace keys feel.

I took a video of the keys being pressed, is there something wrong with them or is that just the way they are? Anything similar to a G710+? I used that keyboard for a while and absolutely loved it, but for different reasons I had to go back to my old G110 and it's killing me after getting used to a mechanical keyboard. The problem is I can't find the G710+ anywhere anymore and I guess there should be better options at this point, anyways.

I can live without the the programmable G keys, since I honestly never used them. I want a NumPad and media control if possible, because I've been using the volume wheel in the keyboard for years, I'd feel weird without it. I don't care much for RGB madness, a simple white backlight is enough for me. As for different switches, I don't have much experience with them to be honest. I enjoyed the Cherry MX Browns and I feel I'd even enjoy something a bit 'harder'.
