It is so cute and heartwarming and also has some laughs along the way. The characters are 99% cats, your helper as well is feline but not an annoying helper. The storyline is excellent and leads you to a very happy ending. It all starts in Cat Town. If you, like myself, are a cat lover, this is right up your alley. The game contains good challenges but not difficult to play, the graphics and colors are wonderful.

Graphics: They were excellent and gorgeous. Animation: Simply the best. Music: very nice, based on classic themes. Fitting background noises. Voices: good spoken, matching the characters - Tools: you do have an interactive map and a helping hand or better said paw.
Story: lovely. A real Christmas story. Locations: The locations open step by step, they are available for the whole time. Needed items are spread over several locations. HO’s: there were different types of HO included. Really good done, sometimes interactive.
Mini games: Nicely done, but pretty easy. Challenge: The tasks were logical, so you can play w/o helping messages - just needing an eager eye.

But all in all, it is not difficult. Length: Is decent. I needed about 4 hours for playing through. There are a lot of nice gimmicks along the game, e.g. The cats were extremely cute. I loved this game!! I needed something to make me feel more festive this year since it was so hot here the last few weeks before Christmas and this truly put me in a Happy Christmas mood! Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots is a feast for the eye. The graphics are sharp, bright and colorful, all the locations are decorated with unique holiday accessories and the cut scenes are just spectacular! The music is simply enchanting - Puss in Boots is certainly one of the most festive hopa's ever created. The game is relatively easy and straightforward with some back tracking but nowhere near as much as in other Elephant games. It's far superior to the Nutcracker which I hated!
It's more child like and much better for children to play then either Nutcracker or Tin Soldier. While I loved Hans Christian Andersen's Tin Soldier I don't think it's suitable for young children, this game definitely is. Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots is the purrfect game for children 2 to 102. It will take you on a magical journey through an uplifting storyline and unbeatable visuals - so why not relax and give it a go, it's guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit!.

Give yourselves a big pat on your backs! I'm almost at the end of this SE game; and folks, as adorable and cute as the characters are-mostly cats-I can't stress how wonderful this game is! I've played hundreds of dark and gloomy, very clever games, I might add, whereby I've rated many of them a 5-star, then comes along this game-well, it has renewed my faith that there are some developers who really do listen and care about what we reviewers think. They have delivered the best game I have played in 2015. And as we're coming to the end of this year, I can't think of a better game to play than this one.
I think I will buy the CE and keep this in my collection for always. It's a wonderful change of pace! After I play my games, I uninstall them. If you were to ask me about their storylines, I wouldn't be able to tell you. As for Christmas Stories: Puss in Boots, I will, indeed, remember it and will keep it on my computer for always, if possible. The storyline is exceptional and refreshing for a change!
It's also refreshing to play a game such as this one. I'm glad I bought it. If this doesn't uplift your spirit, then, with all due respect, you're one cold fish! It may seem sappy or too easy, but the gist of the story is about love, and, in my opinion, it's about fear.
I usually play the harder mode and did so with this game. Yes, there are many easy mini-games but let me tell you, there are some tasks that aren't that easy and it will take ingenuity on your part to figure it out, again, depending on the level you're playing. I love the HOS and how the mini-games are spaced out among them. The artwork is stunning; the music is quite beautiful really, and the game-play is flowing; again, just the way I like my games to be. Silly or not, this game is surely the best in the series. And it's the best game, as far as I'm concerned, that I've played thus far!
It has it all-voiceovers, artwork, music, game-play, storyline, the works! I love the kids' voiceovers; love the characters; the tasks, everything about it! There is a lot of back n' forth but you do have a good map and hint button if you need it.

One of the mini-games, cute as it is, requires you to move the themed parcel to the conveyor belt. I think I may have worn out the belt but I didn't give up.
Perseverance is the key! So many other fun things you must retrieve for the characters, too. You'll have a side-kick, helper named Simon the cat, who will take on Puss in Boots, as a mini-game. Also, you'll find out the reason why Puss in Boots did what he did! There is one tune in the game that I'd love to be able to download, it's so pretty! A visually stunning, well thought-out game! This is definitely a family game and one that I'm sure you will enjoy!
