It is a hidden object game but it is so different from the current ones. You are looking for a thief who has disguised the valuable paintings by changing them.
So you have to find the changes on each painting and remove them. If you use the wrong tool to remove the hidden object, there's a small penalty. Such simple idea but so addicting! I went back to the Big Fish page to look for more like this! I'm now playing the same game but under an alias.

It is a kind of HO, but instead of looking for hidden objects, you have to identify mistakes. Using your different tools, you can eliminate them. Therefor you need an eager eye and a quick hand (or eraser or brush or) Likes: Great paintings, fine old masterpieces.
If you like art, that’s quite interesting. Though some mistakes were quite obvious, some were really good “hidden”, so well-integrated, that they seemed to be original parts of the painting. And there was a lot of humor as well. Dislikes: There is just one type of game only. Nothing else, no mini game, no puzzle, no variation. Very repetitive.
The music was nice, but also extremely repetitive and after a while annoying. Good luck, one can mute it. I thought about, is it worth 3 or 4 stars?
Because of the simplicity, rather 3 stars. But due to the really nice, humorous and well-crafted details I gave one star extra. Rated 4 out of 5 by LogieBaby from decent but can use some improvement It has been quite a while since an art restoration game has been issued. Years ago players were given a few of these efforts. The nice part was seeing lots of fantastic artwork, the bad part was most if not all were the dreaded spot the difference style games. Hunt for Red Panda to its credit abstained from using spot the difference techniques.
I liked the humor injected into the defiled paintings. Putting a clown nose on a refined lady, an army helmet on a dog, a line of clothes drying as a background, etc. Are nice touches. For me the worst part of the game is the inclusion of the bug that can be swatted. To do so requires dropping the solution, the eraser et al to smash the insect. It got to the point I merely ignored the bug entirely. Another egregious faux-pas and that which renders the game a no sale for me is that the player cannot proceed to a new museum ( the game starts in the USA ) until gold stars are acquired for correcting all 10 paintings in the museum.
I also feel the game can become a bit tedious after a while because there is lots of repetition as to which errors need correction. Too many microphones, helmets, army tanks and so on. I'll give the game a mild recommendation for imagination.
It is certainly a game that can be played with youngsters if for no other reason than to introduce kids to the world of fine art. If I may use a school grading system, the game deserves a B. Rated 3 out of 5 by bratzgram from Could've been great!
I love art and was really excited about this game but there are to many things I don't like. I love seeing the paintings and a bit of info on them. Finding the hidden objects was fun. Fixing the problems would've been fun if it didn't tell you which tool to use every time. I thought maybe it would quit after the first few but it didn't.
I would've liked to be able to look at my score after each painting but it pops up and gone before you have a chance to read it. I also think it may have worked better if they had put a mini game every once in a while just to break up the repetitive feeling. However it really reminds me of a bit more dull version of Restoring Rhonda(that I did like until new windows bugged that one and other old games) Basically you have to restore paintings as 'The red panda' has added some extra items to them, and you need to remove it using different tools. Then you have to beat the clock to get 1, 2 or 3 stars finding as many wrong additions as you can to earn money for the painting and save your museum. I did like the game, but I do miss something. I found it a bit tedious doing the same thing over and over and nothing new.Based on demo.
I'm not really sure if I'll get this or not. And the best thing I can say is: Try the demo!! If you find it boring after a while, it won't change afterwards. Rated 3 out of 5 by graceland9 from Not a buy for me. In this HO game, you find mistakes in great art and fix them with your little dropper as well as a scraper, eraser, or paint brush. You can also swat an annoying hornet who keeps landing on the paintings. You have a certain amount of fixative in your dropper to remove the unwanted objects, so maybe this becomes more challenging in the higher levels.

I guess that was about it? After doing five paintings I got bored and quit out. If you enjoy pure HO's and not much storyline beyond a comic-style background, and if you also like finding lobster claws and laptops in fine art, then this is the game for you. It just wasn't a buy for me - too bad, because the idea was original.
