Asif Why would it take 24 hours to see them? Based on what? Raj Since you are using Real time OLTP the reason you may not be seeing is because of CACHING being enabled.

Clear your Cache in the RPD in online mode and rerun your reports. Also click the 'refresh' link in the report. That would sometimes bypass the cache(Both web and app) and return fresh data. If your reports are fast performing reports you can disable caching altogether in NQSConfig.INI by setting CACHE= NO Regards Rama Iyer CRM Support Ext 13152 From: 'asif saiyed via siebel-analytics-l' To: ramaiyer Date: 07:29 AM Subject: RE:siebel-analytics-l Data refresh at OBIEE Reports (Embedded image moved to file: pic52593.jpg) Posted by asif saiyed on Apr 15 at 7:09 AM Mark this reply as helpfulMark as helpful It would take 24 hrs to see them. Have a look in your Siebel table definition in the physical level you can select the cache options there From: Rajkumar327 via siebel-analytics-l mailto:siebel-analytics-l@Groups.ITtoolbox.com Sent: 15 April 2010 10:15 To: Chan, Richard Subject: siebel-analytics-l Data refresh at OBIEE Reports Posted by Rajkumar327 (Analytics) on Apr 15 at 5:28 AM Hi, We are using OBIEE 10.1.0.2 version. We are having real time reports in our application.

We have modified some records in Siebel application level. But We are not seeing those records in Analytics immediatly. What could be the default refresh time without refreshing manually in Analytics. Is it documented some where?I know about the Instance config file parameter. But without mentioning that is there any default data refresh time is ther? Please provide details on that. Hello Raj, To expand on Rama's comment, you can set cache persistence in the Physical Layer of your RPD, on a table-by-table basis. If you take Rama's approach (changing nqsconfig.ini), then you will disable caching for your entire system - real-time and non-real-time.

If you need more flexibility, just open your RPD and change the 'Cacheable' setting on any physical tables that will have real-time changes. While you're at it, you may want to look over.all.

of your physical tables, for all models, to ensure you have a reasonable cache settings in place for them. Hope that helps. Here are Couple of Options 1.

Put a Script in the dashboard to refresh page after 1min ( Assuming thats your Business Requirements) if chaching is turned off. Thanks for correcting me. I was assuming he was just running real time reports. But your solution is more generic and is a better one. Please provide details on that. You can also write a batch process (sort of a bat file) that can clear the cache for that physical table or presentation layer The command is something like this nqcmd.exe -d $DATASRC -u $USER -p $PASSWD -s purgecache.txt purgecache.txt can contain commands like Call SAPurgeAllCache; You can also commands to purge specific caches Then you can repopulate the cache by running select commands like Select columns from your subject area. Many ways to achieve but you have to see whats best. $USER is user with same privileges as Administrator $PASSWD is the above users password.
